#1 Vancouver Canucks / #5 Nashville Predators
Canucks win series 4-2 after a 2-1 win in Nashville
The Canucks scored early and then just shut it down. All they needed was two goals and their defense to show up and it was all over for the Predators.
It's amazing to see what confidence can do for a team and you could tell that the Canucks just had it. They were like a well-oiled machine firing on all cylinders.
It's a shame for the Predators' fans because they were truly there for their team and it is amazing to see a hockey team supported so well in a 'southern' market.
This was just a coming out party for them and we know that better things are in store for them and their captain.
Duh.

Worlds news:
Canada's 3-2 win against Sweden gave them first place in group F and now they have to play Russia in the quarterfinals.
Finland won against Russia in a shootout. And here are a lot of other scores from the IIHF Worlds.
The US lost to Switzerland but still made the quarterfinals. The effort wasn't there for the US and it showed in the score and the race to pucks.
