Happy 1,001 Posts To Us

Little did we know before publishing yesterday's post that it was the 1,000th post of the Hockey Junkies career.

WHAT?!

REALLY?!

1,000 posts about hockey and hot hockey boys and hockey news. 1,000 ridiculous posts that make us only semi-popular in the blogging world. 1,000 posts.

It's a little surprising to us really. We started this blog because it was frustrating to read the male-centric blogs that posted about stats that we didn't care about and had barely any pictures and posted like once a month.

We wanted to read a blog about hockey that was for girls and had the things in it that were the most interesting to us.

That's the origins of The Hockey Junkies. We think that most of you know that by now because we pretty much drill it into everyone's head.

So how do The Hockey Junkies celebrate 1,000 posts, you ask?

With alcohol at 3pm, black bean brownies and Katy Perry blasting through the house as we pop bubble wrap. Because we're awesome like that.

It's still unbelievable that we've made it to 1,000 posts and been pretty consistent with it. We've really only taken like one week off in almost three years of blogging. Because we're obsessed, yes that's right.

And as always, we wouldn't have a blog without you guys.

We appreciate every email and suggestion and comment that we get. It shows that people care about the blog and want to read what we have to say. And we love when most of the work is done for us, kinda.

We love doing this and we love that you love it as well.

Anyway, we thought that keeping with tradition would be best so we're going to highlight some of our best posts in the past two and a half years that got us to 1,000 posts.
