There is literally one thing we want to say about the Blue Jackets and their semi-busy offseason:
Jeff Carter.
He is either their savior or their downfall. He can be the center that Ruck Nash's wet dreams are made of or he can be another bust in a long line of busts.
We always hope for the best though.
There was all this hoopla surrounding the James Wisniewski signing on July 1st but that made no difference to us. We were more concerned about Jeff Carter being the pivot to Rick Nash's winger.
And we got super excited. There's going to be so many trips to Columbus this season to see Jersey Jeff and his slowly fading tan.

Hotness level - 5
The addition of Jeff Carter helped the Blue Jackets hotness cause but we just don't see them as a team that's going to blow our socks off in the looks department. We love how they play and that's about it.
