- Craig Hartsburg stepped down from being the Everett Silvertips coach because he is interested in pursuing another chance at an NHL job.

- The Phoenix Coyotes signed Jason LaBarbera to a two-year contract extension, effectively making Ilya Bryzgalov expendable.

Stanley Cup Finals news:
- Claude Julien is not a Maxim Lapierre fan. At all.

- After the hit heard round the world, Nathan Horton will be out for the remainder of the play offs.
